What is the Productivity Places Program?
The Productivity Places Program (PPP) is a joint Federal and State Government funded program that aims to increase employment opportunities by providing training to eligible job seekers at no cost to them. Asset Training Australia is a contracted preferred training provider under the PPP which means that we can offer "Free Training" to eligible job seekers while the program is operating.
Who is an Eligible Job Seeker?
To be eligible for funding under this program you must:
- Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Live in Queensland
- Be unemployed and intend to seek employment on completion of your course

Important Notes for Applicants
- Every section of the application form must be completed
- Copies of supporting documentation, where specified, must be submitted with the application
- Fax / Email submissions will be accepted for approval purposes however original application forms and certified copies of supporting documentation must be supplied prior to commencement of training
- Completed applications must be received at least 5 working days prior to commencement. Successful applicants will be notified in writing and must provide the Confirmation of Enrolment letter in order to commence training
- Applicants who have previously received PPP funding in "Security Operations" qualifications will not be eligible for funding under this phase of the program
- Licence application fees are NOT funded by PPP. These must be paid by the applicant to the Office of Fair Trading on successful completion of the course; the licence application fee is $329.05 (based on a 1 Year Unrestricted, Multiple Functions Security Providers Licence initial application).
- Approved applicants who fail to attend a course without providing reasonable notice or exceptional circumstances will have their enrolment cancelled in accordance with Asset Training Australia's standard policies and will not be able to re-apply for PPP funding.
Applicants that do not agree with or cannot comply with these conditions should not submit this application. Funded places are very limited and preference will be given to applicants that follow the correct applicaiton procedure.
