Security Firearms Re-Certification

This program has been specifically designed to meet the licensing requirements for a Security (Guard) Weapons Licence renewal in Queensland. The course assesses a participant’s skills and knowledge in relation to firearms safely and effectively determining a response to risk situations including the use of firearms and ballistic vests.

The program is conducted with both written and practical assessments. Emphasis is placed on the safe handling of firearms and selecting an appropriate response to risk situations.

Our instructors are industry professionals with several years experience in the safe handling of firearms in Security, Military, and Recreational Shooting environments.

CPPSEC3008A Control Security Risk using Firearms

     - Category H Revolver

     - Category H Semi-Automatic Pistol

     - Category E Body Armour

     - Category C Shotgun (optional)

Course Outcome

On completion of this program participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment and may apply to the Queensland Police to renew their Security (Guard) Weapons Licence.
